Warranties

It is recommended
that only licensed plumbers with
knowledge of installing decorative
plumbing products be employed to
install Legacy Brass products.
Failure to do so may cause product
malfunction and needless additional
cost.

Lifetime
Limited Warranty
Legacy Brass warrants that its
products are free from defects in
workmanship and materials for the
life of the fitting. Abuse, misuse
or damages caused by accidents
and/or improper installation are not
covered by this warranty.
Finish Warranty
Legacy Brass warrants to the
original consumer purchaser for life
(NOTE: except Architectural,
Uncoated and Hammered finishes,
which are “living” finishes) when
used and maintained in accordance
with the furnished instructions.
Defective fittings or parts will be
replaced or refinished at the
discretion of the company without
charge to the customer. This is the
only warranty granted and is in lieu
of all other warranties of
merchantability and fitness for a
particular purpose or application
and is further limited to defective
parts replacement only. Labor
charges and/or damage incurred in
the installation or replacement, as
well as incidental and consequential
damages connected therewith, are
excluded and will not be paid for by
the company. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of
incidental or consequential damages,
so the above exclusion may not apply
in all cases. ** Non-residential
applications (i.e. commercial,
industrial) are limited to a one
year warranty, subject to proper
care and maintenance.
Valve Warranty
Legacy Brass ceramic disc valve
cartridges have a lifetime warranty.
The cartridge will be replaced free
of charge if it is defective.
In-wall rough and valve bodies will
be replaced at no charge, if found
to contain manufacturing defects.
NOTE: Access to all rough is a
condition of warranty! Failure to
provide access voids the warranty.
**The company reserves the right to
make running changes to the product
lines without prior notice. All
dimensions given in the website,
catalog and price list are nominal
and may vary slightly from the
printed dimensions. |
